The rapper placed a mega bet for the Super Bowl

Drake has just won an absolute fortune after making $1.15million (£910,535) Super Bowl bet.

The rapper placed a mega bet that the Kansas City Chiefs would beat the San Francisco 49ers in tonight’s game.

And Drake even gave a nod to Taylor Swift when he shared the whopping amount of money he had tied up.

The ‘One Dance’ star shared his Super Bowl bet on Instagram as he said he ‘can’t bet against the Swifties’. And it's a good job he didn't, as he just made over $1 million (£791,850) thanks to the team's win.

Swift’s relationship with Chiefs star Travis Kelce has dominated a whole load of the NFL chat outside of the game itself - with her getting involved with the crowd as she chugs beer alongside her celebrity pals.

And keeping her in mind, Drake placed a whopping $1.15 million (£910,535) bet on her boyfriend’s team winning.

It was estimated the rapper will pick up a $2.346 million (£1,857,680) pay-out - a gain of $1.196 million (£947,052) - for the Chiefs win.

Drake of course placed his bet via the online sports betting platform Stake.com, which fans will know he has a partnership with.

The star regularly places bets and shares them to social media, but this has led to a lot of fans saying there’s a ‘Drake curse’.

With a bit of a losing streak to his name, there’s theories he dooms teams when he bets on them - with Chiefs fans having obviously been worried about this too.

As the 49ers seemed to be winning the game, one user wrote on X: "Drake curse might be real."

This 'curse' recently was 'proven' as Sean Strickland lost his title fight at UFC 297 to Dricus du Plessis after Drake had made a whopping $700,000 (£554,295) wager.

And another put: "The Drake Curse is gonna hit again man."

While a third wrote: "The Drake curse is overwhelming the Swiftie good luck charm right now LMFAOOOO."

But in a nail-biting finish tonight, the Chiefs beat the 49ers tonight. With a historic over time game, the stadium in Vegas list up red as the Super Bowl title was won.

So forget the 'Drake Curse' because the rapper has just made himself an extra million dollars. Although, NFL viewers were somewhat in shock that the rapper actually pulled through as one wrote: "The curse is broken!"
