KSI’s golden Prime bottle worth $500,000 was accidentally revealed in another video

KSI’s golden Prime bottle worth $500,000 was accidentally revealed in another video

Fans realised they've seen a glimpse of the gold Prime before

Although the bottles might not be flying off the shelves and causing fights in supermarket aisles like they once were, Prime is still a mega-selling product.

The energy drinks, birthed by YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI, went viral in their early days as shops had to limit sales and announce delivery dates.

And now, Prime are about to sell their billionth bottle.

So in celebration, the two co-founders announced yesterday a special 48-hour hunt to win solid gold bottles worth a mega $500,000 (£403,555).

Paul and KSI shared a video to explain the competition, revealing: “The golden Prime will be encased in bulletproof glass.

"To get to it you must correctly guess a six-digit code. Each person only has one guess and only 20 seconds to make that guess.

"If the code is not guessed correctly within 48 hours, the torches inside the case will ignite.

"And the gold prime bottle will be incinerated completely - worth absolutely nothing. Mark Rober made it."

So, the race is on.

But some eagle-eyed fans realised they’ve seen a glimpse of this ‘gold’ Prime before.

The gold Prime bottle will be encased in bullet proof glass and can only be unlocked with the correct six-digit code.

American YouTuber and streamer IShowSpeed previously did a video going round Crunch Labs – designed by Rober.

He’s not only a YouTuber but was also once a NASA engineer.

And in the background of the clip is a golden Prime box and case – the same one from Paul and KSI’s announcement video of the special bottle.

Rober tells the camera: “Don’t look at this, this is top secret. You’re not supposed to see this right here.”

But the excitable YouTuber jokes: “Nah, show ‘em.”

The YouTuber showed the special gold box in his video.

And Rober tells him he can as IShowSpeed mimics ‘drink prime’ next to the logo against the gold box.

And the former engineer then says: “Something’s coming up with Prime.”

This YouTube video was posted at the end of last month, over a week before Paul and KSI’s big reveal of the bottle.

Commenting on a TikTok showing the leak, one user wrote: “Bro speed leaks everything,” with a laughing emoji.

Despite this accidental leak, fans are still excited to try and get their hands on a gold Prime as there’ll be chances to win both in London and in New York.

KSI does think it will be 'absolute chaos', as he urged fans to 'please be safe' in a tweet following the announcement.

Prime drinkers have been advised to stay tuned for further details - with the locations for each city to be revealed soon.
