Katie Price speaks out about Frankie Boyle making jokes about son Harvey

Katie Price has hit back at comedian Frankie Boyle for his past comments

Katie Price has spoken about about the jokes made by Frankie Boyle in the past about her son.

Harvey Price, now 21 years old, is Katie's eldest child but has septo-optic dysplasion, a rare disorder of early brain development.

Harvey also has Prader-Willi Syndrome and is on the autistic spectrum.

The son of retired footballer Dwight Yorke and former glamour model Katie price, he has made a name for himself in the British public eye.

Despite these factors though, it didn't stop Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle, known for his crude and dark humour, from making the then child the butt of a joke.

Harvey Price was born in 2002.

Speaking recently on the podcast Anything Goes with James English, the mum revealed how she reacted to the joke.

"Well, I done a program and we tried to doorstep him, to get a comment from him and he wouldn't," she explained.

The 45-year-old TV personality continued: "My argument there, just cause he's a comedian doesn't give him an excuse to go on stage and say these things,

"Because if any of his kids, wife, or anyone had a car accident and they were paralysed from the neck down, saying he had to become their carer, and know what it's like to look after someone, would he go on stage and take the p**s then?

"No, that's my view, be careful [with] what you say," she stated.

Price also said there is a 'limit' as anyone can have a joke, but picking on a 'kid that can't defend himself' isn't admirable, as he should have picked on someone that could respond.

Social media users in the comments of the clip posted on X, formerly Twitter, echoed these thoughts.

One user commented: "Not for me, poor form imo"

Another said: "Too far imo! There is a line you shouldn’t cross!"

A third put: "I’m no prude … I find almost anything funny, no matter how close to the edge but yea… this was crass and just not even funny!"

LADbible have contacted Frankie Boyle's representatives for comment.
