Noel Gallagher reveals he called Adele ‘f**ing awful and offensive' after she invited him to meet her

Noel Gallagher has been one to keep his views about fellow musicians to himself, and Adele is no exception.

The former Oasis frontman, 56, has now revealed the real reason behind his feud with the ‘Hello’ crooner, 35, after calling her ‘f***king awful’ and her voice ‘offensive’.

It all started when Adele reached out to him hoping to meet up. Despite receiving the invitation, the rock star was unimpressed because it did not come from Adele herself.

The Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds frontman revealed all during a discussion on the Matt Morgan podcast, where he insisted he never started a feud with Adele, leading to him sharing why he has beef with her.

“I don’t think I have ever gone out of my way to start anything, it’s always been a reaction to some f**king idiot having a go in the first place,” Gallagher said.

“You know me, I keep myself to myself.”

He was then reminded about the comments he made about Adele and how she didn’t throw shots at him first, Gallagher explained: “'No, but she sent someone over to f**king ask, ‘Did I want to meet her?’ That's what riled me.

“I'm not one for causing a scene, I just stick it in the vault and just think revenge is a dish best served cold.”

LADbible has reached out to Adele's representatives for comment.

When asked if he was a fan of any of Adele’s work - which mostly consists of heartbreak pop ballads - he hit back: “F***k off, f**king hell. Name one?

“They're f**king s**t. It's f**king awful. It's f**king Cilla Black. I find it and that whole thing offensive.”

But there’s still hope for Adele if she wants to improve her music, according to the ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ songwriter, all she has to do is perform a song penned by him.

“If I fall out of love with touring, I could see myself just sitting at home writing songs and sending them to my publishers. I might in the future.”

“I'll be saying, ‘'Get Adele to sing that. Don't call until she's done the guide vocal’.

“‘I want Lewis Capaldi to murder this song, I want him to sit on it from a great height. Make me rich’.”

Since Adele only seems to rarely release new music, perhaps a collab between the two could happen. That’s if Gallagher ever accepts her invitation to meet up. All it takes is for one of them to bite the bullet and say 'Hello' afterall...
