Bear Grylls presumably saw the same video we all did the other day as US President Donald Trump's hair was almost literally blown off his head while he was boarding a plane.

I actually kind of admire his reliance and his dogeared determination and tenacity - whatever we think of his politics he definitely has that. And for a survivor in the wild that is an important quality."
Grylls, of course, had the previous president Barack Obama on his show, Running Wild, during Trump's presidential campaign. Grylls, though, is happy to give Trump's time in charge a go before judging.
"I never judge any book by its cover - I've learned from so many different adventures and shows that it's all about in here," he said, pointing at his chest.
Which is kind of true, sure. But it would maybe have been interesting to hear him talk about what he thought about Trump now that he's been in office for over a year, but it seems like neither Kate or Ben felt like pushing in that direction.
To be honest, we can't quite imagine Trump - who's used to living a life of gilded luxury - lasting more than a few hours in the wild, but he's managed to survive being in the White House so far, so technically anything is possible.
And Grylls knows better than most people, given that he's made countless TV programmes and written several books about the art of survival.
He wasn't on the air to promote himself, though. He was on the sofa to talk about how important he thinks the Boy Scouts organisation still is today.
He ended the segment with the following quote from Boy Scouts founder Robert Baden-Powell: "It is not the veneer without, it's the spirit within."
That wasn't in reference to Trump, obviously, but it's certainly applicable.
