The Book Of Boba Fett: Episode Seven’s Post Credit Scene Explained

The Book of Boba Fett’s seventh episode recently aired on Disney Plus.

The Book of Boba Fett’s seventh episode recently aired on Disney Plus, concluding the ex-bounty hunter’s goal of becoming a Tatooine criminal leader in the Star Wars show. Now, TV and film fans are wondering what exactly happened in episode seven’s post-credit scene in The Book of Boba Fett.

What happened in episode seven of The Book of Boba Fett?

Warning: The Book of Boba Fett spoilers ahead.

The season finale arrived following the brutal Pyle Syndicate scaring away the Hutt Twins and employing the lethal mercenary, among Clone Wars character Cad Bane (Corey Burton), in a potential fight with Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison).

Meanwhile, the finale episode saw Fett and his group winning against the Pyke Syndicate and become successful in releasing Mos Espa, as well as the rest of the Tatooine, from their reign.

Everybody managed to survive, aside from Cad Bane and a number of those in the Mod Squad. Those that were injured included Wookie Black Krrsantan, with Fett allowing the character to recover in the bacta tank.

Following the battle, Fett and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) check out the aftermath of the fallout, while Fett’s trademark bowing arm is severely injured. However, despite Fett believing that Wookie is still bathing in the bacta tank, it turns out that he’s not still in there. So, who is?

What happened in episode seven’s post-credit scene in The Book of Boba Fett?

With Wookie not ending up in the tank, the episode cuts to the post-credit scene, where the camera begins to show someone else in there.

It’s hard to make out who has replaced Wookie in the tank, especially since the Mod Artist is standing there, preparing to work on whoever is bathing in there.

It’s then revealed that Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant) is in the tank, who was abandoned by Cad Bane in Freetown in the last episode, meaning that Vanth’s death was dramatised this whole time.

Vanth ends up being alive, no doubt injured, hence being in Fett’s tank, but the Mod Artist might be ready to make some modifications to the character.

Bear in mind, there was a foreshadowing conversation between Cad Bane and Boba Fett, when Bane warned the character that he should have kept Cobb Vanth in his armour. Could this mean that Vanth will get armour of his own?

We’ll have to stay tuned for season two to know for sure.
