McDonald's fans only have hours to grab popular items before they're axed from menu

McDonald's fans only have hours to grab popular items before they're axed from menu

Five beloved limited items are leaving the menu today.

McDonald’s is going through a huge change tonight, meaning customers only have a few hours left to try five popular items before they’re gone.

It’s not unusual for the fast-food chain to make changes to its menu, with burgers, ice creams and other side dishes joining and departing the menu throughout the year.

The restaurant giant has also announced what items will be replacing the meals leaving the menu.

Fans of the brand will be sad to hear that two burgers, one side and two ice creams will be leaving the line-up for good from Wednesday (29 March).

That means you’ll have to put on your wellies and raincoats and run to your nearest Maccies if you want to try them – or you could always order in via the McDonald’s app or Just Eat.

Today is the last day you can feast on the Grand Bic Mac and the Grand Big Mac with Bacon.

The Chilli Cheese Bites will also bid farewell at the end of today and for those of us with a sweet tooth, the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry and the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry will be no more once the day is over.

Say goodbye to the Chilli Cheese Bites.

However, there’s some good news. All five of these items have been on the menu before which means the possibility of them making a grand re-entrance to the menu could happen again.

The Grand Big Mac for example sold out all the way back in 2018 and it’s a fan favourite every time Maccy D’s revives it.

The tasty Chilli Cheese Bites and both Galaxy McFlurries have been on the menu before, so they may be back one day in the future.

The fast food restaurant has already announced the items that will be replacing the outgoing limited items this month, which will definitely come as a huge relief for McDonald’s lovers.

The restaurant chain confirmed the return of its much loved jumbo chicken burger last week to the delight of fans across the nation.

It initially went on sale in February 2022 and it quickly sold out and was eventually pulled from the menu due to the high demand.

The Chicken Big Mac will be back.

Well, the Golden Arches heard the cries of fans – who left ‘heartbroken’ by the loss of the burger last year. It will be back from Wednesday 29 March priced at £4.49 while a meal will cost £6.09.

Let's hope they're able to keep up with the demand this year!

Fans can also pick up the iconic Mozzarella Duppers for £2.19 or opt for a sharebox for £6.19.

And just in time for Easter, the Creme Egg McFlurry has hopped back onto the menu this year costing £1.99 for a regular size £1.49 for the mini version.
