Prince William has broken royal protocol to have a selfie with a fan in Ireland.
The royals do not typically pose for photos or sign autographs with members of the public, but the Duke of Cambridge clearly decided to make an exception when Jennifer Malone handed him a small bouquet of daffodils before asking for a selfie in County Kildare on Wednesday.
Jennifer's mum shared the snaps on Twitter, where they have been liked more than 1,300 times.

Judging by the comments, it looks like the photo shoot might be the highlight of William and Kate's first official visit to the Republic of Ireland.
One person said: "Jennifer you must be one amazing and beautiful young lady Obviously even Prince William couldn't wait to take a selfie with you!! The Sweetest. Favourite post so far."
Another said: "Beautiful pics Jennifer. Agree, William is kind, friendly and classy. A good man."
A third added: "Fabulous pictures & lovely to have, isn't he a gent & wasn't he lucky to meet you."

This isn't the first time though that Jennifer has had her picture taken with a big celebrity, having met Hugh Jackman last year.
Jackman shared the photo on social media with the caption: "Hi Jennifer. Thanks so much for taking a picture with me. You're awesome. Love HJ."
As you might expect from an official royal visit, William and Kate have had a very busy itinerary.

Yesterday (Thursday), 300 people turned out to watch them try their hand at a bit of hurling and Gaelic football in Galway.
Their visit to the city featured a showcase of the city's 2020 European Capital of Culture programme, but that didn't stop them making time for a pint of Guinness at the Tig Cóilí pub, where William had to apologise to Kate after becoming embroiled in football chat with a fellow Aston Villa fan.
They also took time out from official engagements to stroll a coastal cliff path in Howth, County Dublin, meeting members of the public along the way.
On Tuesday, just as Queen Elizabeth did in 2011, the pair travelled to Dublin's Garden of Remembrance, laying a wreath with the handwritten message: "May we never forget the lessons of history as we continue to build a brighter future together."
